On August 26, 2026, Salesforce reported second quarter fiscal 2027 results. Total revenue was $11.3 billion, up 11 percent year over year and in constant currency. Remaining performance obligation was $66.3 billion, up 11 percent, with current RPO of $33.5 billion, up 14 percent in constant currency. The company raised full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion.
The disclosure that matters is the agent line. Salesforce reported that Agentforce annual recurring revenue exceeded $1.5 billion, up over 240 percent year over year, and that combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR reached nearly $3.9 billion, up over 210 percent. Effective this quarter, the Agentforce ARR definition includes the company’s AI offerings, Slackbot and Headless 360, so the growth rate spans a broader product set than in prior quarters. On usage, Salesforce cited 7.0 billion Agentic Work Units delivered to date across Agentforce and Slack, of which 3.2 billion came in the quarter, up 97 percent sequentially, with Slackbot users up over 150 percent quarter over quarter.
Marc Benioff summarized it as “AI is delivering value across every layer of our platform,” and said the company is “turning AI into customer success at unprecedented scale.”
For an enterprise leader, this is one of the few places where AI agent adoption shows up as a disclosed, recurring revenue line at a large incumbent software vendor rather than as a pilot count. The gap is still stark - roughly $3.9 billion of AI ARR against a company guiding to more than $46 billion - which is a useful calibration on how much of enterprise software spend has actually converted to agents so far.
